CHARTER BOOKING POLICY

Charters can only be placed over the telephone or at our Fresno office. A deposit will be required to confirm your charter.  Full payment must be received thirty (30) days prior to the trip. Customers will receive a signed charter order as a confirmation and acknowledgement of their order.  This order will be sent either by facsimile or by U.S. Mail.  If you have not received your charter order within five (5) working days of the placement of your charter, please contact our Charter Services Department.

 

Best Tours and Travel makes every effort to adhere to schedules and itineraries, but is not responsible for circumstances that are beyond its control.  Customers should be prepared for potential delays due to traffic congestion, accidents, and weather.  Best Tours and Travel reserves the right to adjust travel routes as necessary or modify itineraries.  No such adjustments shall be made without notification to the chartering party.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be received thirty (30) days in advance of the scheduled charter.  Cancellations received within three (3) business days of the scheduled charter are subject to the full charge of the charter.

 

Best Tours and Travel reserves the right to cancel any company tour that does not reach the minimum passenger count.  In the event a tour is cancelled by Best Tours and Travel, a full refund will be made.

 

CLEANING DEPOSIT

A cleaning deposit of $300.00 may be required on any charter service where food/beverages will be served.  This deposit may be held on a major credit card and would not be billed unless the motorcoach requires excessive cleaning.

 

It is the customer's responsibility to notify Best Tours and Travel in advance if there will be any food/beverages brought aboard the motorcoach.  Best Tours and Travel reserves the right to limit or reject any food/beverage its deems unacceptable.  There are no glass containers or kegs allowed on the motorcoach at any time.

 

No ice chests, trash cans, or other objects may be placed in the aisles of the coach at anytime it is in motion.  All beverages must be secured in a standard ice chest.  It is the customer's responsibility to insure there are no leaks from customer containers.  No ice chests or containers may be placed on the coach seats without proper protection such as a plastic bag.

 

SMOKING AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Smoking is never allowed aboard the coach or its lavatories at any time.  Alcoholic beverages are also prohibited unless prior approval and arrangement has been made with your charter consultant.

 

PASSENGER PROPERTY/BAGGAGE

Best Tours and Travel is not responsible for passenger property (including luggage) that may be damaged, lost, misplaced, or stolen.  Accommodations for one piece of luggage per passenger will be available for overnight trips.  Passengers needing additional luggage space must make prior arrangements.

 

PASSENGER MEALS AND CHARGES

Each passenger shall be responsible for his/her own meals, telephone toll charges, personal item needs, other transportation, etc.  Best Tours and Travel will only provide meals and/or other food accommodations as outlined in the tour package or charter order.

 

GRATUITIES

The cost of the charter or travel arrangements does not automatically include gratuities.  A driver gratuity can be included if requested by the chartering party.  It is customary for drivers to receive a gratuity between 10% and 15% depending on the excellent service given. 

 

DRIVER ACCOMMODATIONS

The customer is responsible to provide one (1) hotel lodging per driver for any charter that extends overnight or exceeds the driver's legal hours.  The lodging must be within 10 miles of the group's location.  The acceptability of the lodging shall be at the discretion of Best Tours and Travel.  Best Tours and Travel reserves the right to make alternative lodging arrangements at the customer's expense if those provided by the customer are deemed inappropriate/unacceptable.

 

The customer may elect to have all lodging accommodations arranged by Best Tours and Travel at their expense.  A per diem rate of $200.00 per night may be accessed.
