Best Tours and Travel has been in business for over 25 years and is extremely proud of our exemplary safety record. Fleet: Our motorcoach fleet is meticulously maintained by a very professional and skilled staff of technicians. Our lead mechanic has been with the company from its inception. You can always take comfort in knowing that Best Tours and Travel will never compromise on the safety of its fleet.
Our maintenance staff keep detailed records on every bus in our fleet. A complete accounting of all inspections and repairs is maintained. Our maintenance programs far exceed the requirements of Federal and State standards. The entire fleet of Best Tours and Travel buses is annual inspected by the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Transportation. We always receive a satisfactory rating from all governmental agencies. We have never had a bus taken out of service for a safety violation. Drivers: All of the drivers that Best Tours and Travel employs are the best in the industry. Each driver is well trained and experienced. We also only employ safe, courteous, and friendly drivers. The State of California requires that each motorcoach driver have a commercial driver's license, passenger endorsement, and medical examination. We conduct preliminary and random drug screen examinations on all of our drivers. All of our drivers have received individual behind the wheel training by one of our certified instructors. Every driver receives training on city street, freeway, and mountain driving. Training in abnormal weather and road conditions is also provided. All of our drivers are also trained in the application and removal of snow chains on the motorcoach. Each driver that carries school students must have a Student Pupil Activity Bus (SPAB) certification issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). This certification requires each driver to receive many hours of additional training both in the classroom and behind the wheel.
Our instructors conduct regular safety training sessions for our drivers. These training sessions cover all types of topics which include bad weather driving, bus operations, inspections, law changes, first aid, and various other safety related topics. Detailed training records are kept for each driver.

Each and every bus receives a thorough inspection by
our drivers at the beginning of the day as well as at the end. Once the
driver parks the bus at the yard, it is taken into the shop and thoroughly
inspected by a trained technician. All of the brakes on the bus are
checked and any necessary adjustments are made. If any repairs are needed
that could be a safety issue, the bus is immediately taken out of service and
repaired.
Training:
Best Tours and Travel has a very skilled staff of trainers that have California
Department of Education credentials. Each instructor has successfully
completed a lengthy training course conducted by both the California Highway
Patrol and California Department of Education. This training and
certification is the highest rating a motorcoach instructor can have.
